FUNNY
RESPONSIBLE
CONFIDENT
Yanna, 18
If you spend much time around Yanna, you’ll probably notice that she loves to laugh and isn’t afraid to work hard.
Yanna brings energy into the house, whether she’s teasing her houseparents, joking around with the girls, or heading out to school or one of her jobs. She works in the church coffee shop and in retail, and is also gifted at doing specialized hairstyles.
She is a responsible young woman, but also knows how to have fun. When Yanna’s not working or at school, you might find her water skiing, in the kitchen baking something, or dreaming about her next trip. She hopes to make travel a bigger part of her future and enjoys seeing new places and exploring.
Yanna is growing into someone who knows who she is and isn’t afraid to work hard toward what comes next.

What serving at Big Oak Girls’ Ranch means to me
“I have had the privilege to stand in the gap for 35 girls over the last 14 years. Some days, weeks, and even months have been incredibly difficult, but the Lord always reminds me that His children are worth it. I remain incredibly grateful that God called my family to serve these children and this ministry.”
— Suzanne, Housemom
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
