CREATIVE
CARING
CURIOUS
Menyon came to Big Oak Ranch when he was seven years old and in the first grade. Around the home, his family calls him “Menyoda” — or simply “Yoda” for short. Now 14, Menyon is creative, caring, and curious. He loves playing soccer for Westbrook Christian School and being a member of the band.
Menyon enjoys finding and collecting things, and then turning them into new creations. With an engineer’s mind, he loves taking things apart and figuring out how to put them back together. He is also very artistic and creates beautiful drawings. His thoughtful nature and friendly personality help him make friends wherever he goes. His infectious smile and laugh also have a way of bringing joy to everyone around him.

What serving at Big Oak Boys’ Ranch means to me
“Leading boys to understand God’s calling and design for their lives is both a privilege and a responsibility. Our Men in Training program equips them for when they leave Big Oak to be godly men, prepared to lead with biblical character in a world where that standard is increasingly rare.”
— Tyson Simon, Boys’ Ranch Director
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. “
Romans 15:15
