Legends Huntsville is one of Big Oak Ranch’s largest fundraising events of the year. With a live auction party at Huntsville Botanical Garden and a golf tournament at The Ledges, this event brings together donors, players, and community partners.
Every dollar raised helps provide safe homes, education, and support for children at Big Oak Ranch. Whether you’re playing or bidding, your participation supports real needs. This event is about more than just a good time; it’s about making a lasting difference.
Auction Party
The Legends Huntsville Live Auction Party brings purpose and generosity together. Slated for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Carriage House at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, auction items will include travel packages, memorabilia, and unique experiences — all while supporting the ministries of Big Oak Ranch. Open to everyone, the auction offers a chance to:
- Give back in a tangible way
- Bid on items you’ll actually use or enjoy
- Support the daily needs of children at Big Oak Ranch
Every bid placed helps provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children healing from the effects of abuse and neglect. Your participation will make a lasting impact.

Play with Purpose
The Legends Huntsville Golf Tournament will be held Monday, Oct. 20, at The Ledges. This four-player Texas scramble offers more than just great golf — it’s an opportunity to directly support the ministries of Big Oak Ranch. Each team sponsorship helps cover the cost of caring for a child for one year through the Big 12 Club, turning your time on the course into long-term impact.
Tournament Format & Rules
The tournament follows a four-person, Texas scramble format. A Texas Scramble is a fun, casual team golf format where players hit shots from the same best-ball location, but with the added rule that each player’s drive must be selected and played at least a certain number of times per round
Where and When Is the Tournament?
The tournament will be held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at The Ledges (32 Castle Down Drive) in Huntsville, Ala.
- Registration and Breakfast: 8:30 a.m.
- Tee Time: 10 a.m.
- Dinner and Awards Ceremony: 3 p.m.
How Does My Participation Help?
Team sponsorships are $12,000 and hole sponsorships are $2,000.
Team sponsorships include a sponsor sign and a four-person team for golf (each player will receive a goody bag, lunch and dinner). Hole sponsorships Includes a sponsor sign and mention in tournament advertising.
Your participation provides a child at Big Oak Ranch with everything they need to thrive — food, clothing, medical care, counseling, and the chance to enjoy sports, activities and community. More than that, you’re helping a child experience the stability and love of a Christ-centered home where Hope and healing are found.

Will there be a dinner?
Yes! Dinner and the awards ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. Awards will be presented to the 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th and 18th place teams. Please note, you must be present at the awards ceremony to win.
