At Big Oak Ranch, we are committed to creating generational change by providing the stability, love and faith-filled guidance each child deserves. Build Community at Big Oak
Expanding our homes to strengthen children’s futures.
The mission to build and sustain Big Oak includes a God-given vision to build 20 homes at the Boys’ Ranch and Girls’ Ranch over the next decade. This will allow us to meet the immediate needs of more abandoned and neglected children while maintaining the close-knit community that keeps us going. A $1 million investment funds the construction of one home, with each Big Oak Ranch home serving up to eight children.
From there, we have a plan to build community within communities starting in Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery and Mobile, multiplying the impact of Big Oak by providing Christian homes for children in state care needing a chance. A $400,000 investment funds the building or purchase of a Big Oak Communities home, which will serve up to five children.

Ensuring stability for generations.Providing a home is just the beginning. We must also ensure each home remains a place of refuge and restoration for the foreseeable future. This will be accomplished through a $5 million endowment, which will sustain each home in perpetuity.
